One of the greatest builds to come out of Dead by Daylight’s massive perk rework is tank build, a survivor setup that involves running multiple perks that allow you to take additional hits and keep going. While strong, this build is often a bit of a meme because survivors go far out of their way to proc mettle of man and force out protection hits for stacks – often making games easier for killers.
The biggest reasons for the emergence of this build are Off the Record’s huge buff and Dead Hard now granting endurance rather than having you dodge a hit. So while there’s a good chance that DBD’s meta will change significantly after 6.1.0, it’s more likely that survivors will favor the stronger parts of tank build (Off the Record especially if it isn’t nerfed and maybe dead hard as well), while leaving behind the other two potential slots for different survival perks.
