Two days ago Dead By Daylight dropped a short teaser for their upcoming Chapter 27 DLC content! The next chapter will be called Tools of Torment and looks to be an original chapter! But looking deeper at the teaser people realized that Dead By Daylight themselves may have inadvertently revealed the identities of the characters in this chapter in the YouTube information on the video itself.
This is heavy SPOILER ALERT stuff so don’t read any further or watch too far into the video if your’e trying to avoid spoilers!
So if you have some specific google chrome extensions on your computer the tags on a video can be revealed to you for any video on YouTube.
And it seems that when Dead By Daylight uploaded the video they may have put the names of the Tools of Torment characters in as some of the tags on their teaser video.
They are:
The Skull Merchant
Thalita Lyra
Renato Lyra
So it seems highly plausible that these are the identities of the characters in this chapter. Probably the Killer name and the name of either one or two of the survivors? Possibly both the killer and survivor are related and have the same last name? Or maybe this is all a red herring with random names to throw us off?
